Rise and Shine is a fifth grade through eighth grade celebration held every Monday to kick off a new school week. Students arrive to energizing music and then respectfully maintain a moment of silence after they salute the U.S. flag and the Oklahoma flag. Student council members read the announcements, the word of the week, and the quote of the week. Accomplishments of the past week are celebrated. Finally, the week is kicked off with a celebration. Rise and shine is one component of the Great Expectations program at Middleberg School. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
