The 2023 Middleberg Girls XC Team was crowned ORES Division II State Champs on Friday, October 6th. Their total score of 55 easily put them in first place in the 1.5 mile run. Their total top 5 time was 52:36. Finishing in the top ten individuals were 7th grader Bentli Brantley for 2nd place and 8th grader Kenzie Handke in 8th place. Joining Bentli and Kenzie for the MIddleberg scorers were, Ashlyn Schmidt, Anna Mitchell, and Abby McGuire. Additional state qualifiers were Ali Cook, Chloe White, Ainsley Clark, Bella Hembree, Pyper Bogle, Addy Boyd, and Lilly Potts. Great job ladies!
